Will 1000ppm co2 kill us?

Anyone in the HVAC business knows that controlling CO2 concentrations in buildings is a major concern, with 1000 ppm being a commonly cited threshold for discomfort. It won't kill you, but it's the point at which your occupants may start to complain of 'stale air' and minor breathing problems.
